This tee is rather cool although it seems a bit blasphemous to see any variation of Alex on a non orange background.  This is a bit creepy, so getting it for children might not be such a good idea. Especially with the drug references and the rest of the awesome references to the cinematic masterpiece. Anthony Burgess and Stanley Kubrick would be proud to wear the tee themselves on St. Patrick’s Day.

The only visual downside to the design is the weak use of green in the rainbow. Yes, the shirt is green, and so are leprechaun Alex’s clothes. But the the thickness difference of the green with that of the other colors makes it appear a little off. It is a wee bit more unsettling than the hat’s shading compared to the shadows on the face.

While it is too late to get this tee for Saint Patrick’s Day 2013, it is not too late to to get it for next year. The A Clockwork Sham(Rock) tee design is ideal for A Clockwork Orange fans, Irish folk and maybe hippies. This is definitely one of the top 5 of the most badass St. Patrick’s Day t-shirt designs of all time.
