The Gypsy T-Shirt design by Russian artist, Alex Wezta makes you think twice about the symbolism of realistic skulls. Just look at it. Beautifully embellished with silky flowing hair and red roses. The way everything was drawn makes you think that this person or being is not quite dead as it looks. Perhaps this Gypsy while still alive made a pact with a higher being or made a potion in order to acquire immortality. The added amulet and items beneath the skull add to the mysticism of this piece. It tells us a story that each and one of us has to make.

Using 3 or 4 colors, Alex was able to flawlessly capture a rather obscure subject. The way the dark colors blend with the fabric makes it look like the shirt is part of an illusion and you’re not looking at a t-shirt but at the actual gypsy hiding in the shadows or perhaps, coming out of the shadows. The light colors were perfectly used to bring depth to the hair and skull while the red adds a touch of seductiveness. There’s nothing that can’t be liked about this design. Period!

The actual print is very soft and the colors are vivid. After a few washes, I’m sure the ink will feel more like fabric than ink and that’s a good thing. Makes the fabric breathable for those hot summer days. The shirt comes with a hem tag and a hang tag which adds to the branding of Grave Takers. The print size is approximately 14″ x 19″ which is perfect for such detailed design.

The Gypsy T-Shirt Design is perfect for those who like dark and artistic imagery.
