A King In Every Corner tshirt design by Alex Solis and Alice X. Zhang features the heraldic animal representations of the 4 houses that are after the Iron Throne in the H.B.O. television series Game Of Thrones.

House Baratheon is represented as the dead stag above immediately above it is a direwolf which represents the House  Stark, Baratheon’s greatest allies. In direct combat with the direwolf is the lion which represents the wealthy House Lannister who are married into the House Baratheon with deceit. Above them all are the dragons which appropriately represent House Targaryen the dynasty that House Baratheon overtook.

The true beauty of this art collaboration is the medieval art style that was emulated flawlessly. It is like looking into the painted pages of books from the days of knights and legends in the middle ages especially with a light background which mimics book pages.  Though some may prefer a darker fabric it really needs to remain on the lighter side for this very reason. The colors used in the artwork are earthy which sets the mood nicely. The flies around the stag are a great touch.

The layout of the animals stacked in such a way is to make it more two dimensional and to keep it with the medieval style. The spaces between the banners also seem to be symbolic of the relationships of the families involved.

This design is similar to many of the the Harry Potter designs found all over the net with the Hogwarts Houses just this is on the lovely violent side. It is perfect for fans of the books and Game of Thrones series.
