The Lucy Is a Punt Charlie Brown T-Shirt design features Charlie Brown kicking Lucy’s blood dripping head like he would have that football had she never took it from in front of him.

Good ol’ Chuck finally looks happy in this design, as he gets his ultimate revenge on that know-it-all, little bitch Lucy. One may question if this design is a little too violent. The answer is, no, not really because it is after all not real and Charlie Brown is a comic strip/cartoon that was started in the 1950′s when cartoon violence was not so shunned and one must point out that though an older generation is different, they are not nearly as whiny as some of those that have followed. One never heard of mass shootings by teens and early twenty somethings back then and though most people would not agree to it these days some of us were actually raised by people that told us ‘If you start a fight, I hope you get your ass whooped’ and ‘If someone starts a fight with you and you don’t finish it, you have me to deal with!’ Oddly enough, I do not remember bullying, nor being bullied by other children, imagine that?

This of course is not an actual Peanuts cartoon, but most of us totally understand it. It is rather obvious that most humans would not punt that brat’s head like a football, but admit it, you have asked yourself why Charlie never stood up to Lucy and in some way or another, at least to a few, this tee gives a sense of satisfaction.  As a very wise man said ‘Charlie Brown always went around depressed, he kept going and trying to make things good and everything always got in his way. All he wanted to do was kick that damn football and that little bitch couldn’t even let him do that!’ and it was in that moment that this design came to mind for a review because possibly, someone could relate.

The design itself shows a very happy Charlie Brown, not just by his smile, but even his eyes have a look of joy about them which is pretty good considering that it is a cartoon. Lucy appears to be making a ‘gag me’ face, but it suits the purpose. The blood spilling from Lucy’s neck and puddling on the ground is a great touch and the lighting making a shiny reflection  in the blood is pretty gruesome. The last thing to mention is the blood spot on Chuck’s shoe… You have to wonder if he would hide the evidence or save it as a trophy of sorts?
