The Spaghetti Hylian T-shirt design by Pertheseus is a mash-up of  the video game The Legend of Zelda with the movie The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. The result is The Courage, the Wisdom and the Power featuring Link, Princess Zelda and Ganon.

This is fantastic. Not only does it have the segmented boxes like the original The Good, the Bad and the Ugly movie poster, but it also incorporates the colors and attributes of each of the Legend of Zelda characters as opposed to a tan and brown monochromatic color scheme.

Each of the Nintendo characters are armed with guns rather than their usual weapons. Various game elements mark each of their weapons and clothes such s the Triforce and Life Heart meter.

The Mash-up is executed brilliantly all the way around. The shading is excellent and there are just the right amount of details included from both franchises. The style is gritty and almost grunge which is perfect for the two themes coming together. And the balance matches that of the movie poster.

However, the  Legend of Zelda meets Spaghetti Western concept is not a completely original idea as another designer called ninjaink had made A Fistful of Rupees design a year ago.  More recently, The Game Station produced a Zelda /A Fistful of Dollars mash-up entitled FISTFUL OF RUPEES as well, which is a three-part web miniseries starring T.J. Smith, Lisa Foiles, and Rawn, with guest appearances by Dodger and Jesse Cox. This miniseries crew had the same motif as their poster design. Perhaps both could had served as inspiration for the design.

This tee is a must have for Zelda and Clint Eastwood fans.
